Sex racket busted in Kerala

MALAPPURAM: Five persons including three women, who were allegedly running a 'brothel' near here, have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody on Thursday, police said.

"Following public complaints that the gang is involved in flesh trade at a rented house at Edarikkodu under Kalpakancheri police station limits, we raided the house last night and arrested five persons, including three women, hailing from different parts of the state," Valancheri Circle Inspector Syed Mohammad told reporters.

A thorough search was on to nab the alleged kingpin of the racket, identified as Suhail, he said.

The gang, comprising Faisal of Parapanangadi, Narayanan Kutty of Tirur in Malappuram, Nirmala alias Mini of Thiruvananthapuram, Janaki of Thrissur and a Bangladeshi woman Roopali, were said to be operating from the rented house for about two months, he said, adding three vehicles used by them in the operations had also been seized.

The accused were produced before a court in Tirur and remanded to judicial custody, Syed said.

Suhail's identity card and bank pass book had also been recovered from the house, he said.

A detailed probe would be held into the case as several others were suspected to be involved in the racket, he added.

Spiritual Teachings

“I have come to wipe away the tears of suffering in humanity. Use these techniques, combined with Selfless service, to rapidly manifest what you want in life so you can become peaceful and enter into the Golden Age. The human mind is full of anxiety. It will hurt regardless if you are poor, mediocre, or rich. The only lasting means of happiness is selfless service. Selflessness and desirelessness are like two feet with which you walk through life on this Planet. Every action that you do should be tested by selflessness and desirelessness. Then I will be with you and lead you towards God and Enlightenment."
~ Dattatreya Siva Baba

What is Dattatreya Siva Baba's approach to teaching and practice?
Selfless service is the centerpiece to Dattatreya Siva Baba’s teachings. It is the quickest way to access his Grace, evolve your own spirit and successfully create material and spiritual abundance through his manifesting techniques. You can experience Heaven on Earth now through the daily practice of Selfless Service and by involving others in this practice.

Living your purpose is another core concept. At the soul level each of us has come to this earth plane to have specific experiences and share our natural gifts with the world in specific ways. Unfortunately, many of us become so focused on the daily demands of living that we forget or neglect that purpose. When you remember it and share it with others you experience a tremendous sense of fulfillment and harmony with Life. When living your purpose also becomes your livelihood, even deeper joy and fulfillment comes to you and through you on all levels.

What is meant by Selfless service?
Selfless service comes from a deeply-held attitude and outlook you have about yourself, your life and your place in the world that gets expressed through your thoughts, feelings and actions. It is about the choices you get to consciously make each day and throughout the day to cause you to live for others rather than just for yourself. It is an outgrowth of being Selfless.

Please visit the Selfless Service area, where you will more information from Baba regarding selfless service, as well as ways to easily include Selfless service in your life.

How do Baba's manifesting techniques work with Selfless service?
Baba says that the primary purpose of money and manifesting is to help others. He has empowered his teachings to work for those who wish to manifest with this intention. It is also important to be able to manifest for the care of your own needs and those in your immediate care. Baba says that will happen as long as you sincerely first ask to manifest your desires for others, and then you ask for them to happen for you.

What are Baba’s core techniques, along with Selfless service?
Central to all of the study paths Dattatreya Siva Baba offers are several core teachings:
Selfless Service
Three Gifts for the Golden Age
Writing OM Siva Baba
The Miracle Mantra
"Ah" and "Ara Kara" meditations
Pradosham

Hinduism Makes It Easy!
Why do people practice only one religion? How difficult is it to follow multiple religions? The great religions of the world constitute a huge reservoir of spiritual and philosophical wisdom, and there is no reason why one should confine oneself only to one of them.
Practising Multiple Religion Is Not Uncommon
In Nepal, for instance, many people practise both Hinduism and Buddhism; while in Japan, the well-known saying goes that people are born into the Shinto tradition, get married as Christians, and die as Buddhists. The Chinese naturally practice more than one religion simultaneous – Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. In most Southeast Asian nations it is normal to practice Buddhism and Hinduism at the same time.
The French Hindu Monk
The Hindu-Christian interaction over the past century has been an extremely interesting one.

Powerful Mind Control Techniques That Work! Watch This Free Video

This is highlighted in a remarkable book entitled , which is the spiritual diary of Swami Abhishiktananda (1910 - 1973). A Benedictine monk, born in France as Henri le Saux, he came to India in 1948 and stayed here until his passing away in 1973. He was profoundly impressed by Hinduism, particularly by the advaita philosophy of the Upanishads.
Theological Differences Don’t Matter
In the great seer, Ramana Maharshi, he found his guru; and though he remained a Catholic till the end of his life, his remarkable spiritual experiences testify to the fact that theological differences vanish when spiritual realization dawns. For instance, Hinduism believes in multiple lives until one attains liberation, while Christianity postulates only one life on earth. Despite such theological differences between Hinduism and Christianity, at a deeper level, dissimilarities become insignificant. As is well known, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsahad no theological problem when, in the course of his amazing sadhana, he encountered Jesus Christ. For Abhishiktananda too, his experience of the all-pervasive Brahman was overwhelming even while he held on to his belief in Jesus Christ as a unique savior.
Harmony in Dichotomy
Indeed, the dichotomy between a vast impersonal consciousness and devotion to a personal deity is found within every religious tradition. In Hinduism, the two have always been sought to be harmonized. This is particularly the case in the Upanishads, which are the high watermark of Hindu philosophy. The Ishavasya Upanishad is an outstanding text on the synthesis between the One and the Many. In a recent study of American liberal religion, Thomas Tweed touches a similar chord while defining the open nature of religions: "Religions are confluences of organic-cultural flows that intensify joy and confront suffering by drawing on human and superhuman forces to make homes and cross boundaries."
The All-Embracing Religion
In conclusion, Hinduism, of all religions, makes it conducive for us to believe in the coexistence of multiple religions. Hinduism’s all-embracing quality not only makes its possible for its followers to accept a variety of beliefs and practices, but also creates the warmth that helps them welcome followers of other faiths and reap the benefits of its ancient heritage.

Pillars of Divya Yog Mandir (Trust) & Patanjali Yogpeeth(Trust)

Revered Swami Ramdevji Maharaj, a celibate since childhood, is well versed in Sanskrit Grammar, Ayurved and Vedic Philosophy. A strong Proponent of Indian cultural values, his services in the field of cow-breeding, research in the field of AYURVED and his practical approach of Yog has won him several thousands of admirers throughout India and made him a living symbol of Indian culture.

His detachment to worldly happiness and devotion to social service has made him a phenomenal character in the saintly world. Revered Swami Shankerdevji Maharaj got him initiated in the ascetic order on the sacred banks of River Ganga.

He has taught Ashtadhyayee, Mahabhashya, Upnishads alongwith six systems of Indian Philosophy in a couple of Gurukuls (traditional Indian systems of education). Besides, during his travels in the Himalayan mountains, he performed severe austerities in the caves of Gangotri for the realisation of SELF and acquired several uncommon capabilities.

With the blessings of Revered Swami Shankerdevji Maharaj, he, in assocition with his learned companions, Acharaya Balkrishan Ji Maharaj, a great scholar and famous Ayurvedic physician & others established Divya Yog Mandir (Trust) in 1995 at Kankhal, Hardwar, Uttaranchal, India.

He, while in the sate of Sadhna, has been guiding several service projects of medical, spiritual and educational pursuits through this Trust since then. Revered Swami Ji Maharaj, who have unfurled the flag of Yog on top, cures about two lac patients per month with his spiritual energy in his Yog Camps.

Over twenty lac people of all parts of country and abroad derive benefit from live and vibrating science of Yog by taking part in Yog Camps every year, which helps in building a prosperous, advanced, disease free and subtle new India.
Nearly 250 millions viewers of our country and abroad, have close association with the age old science of Yog and Pranayam through AASTHA, AASTHA- INTERNATIONAL, SHARA, INDIA T.V. & STAR NEWS T.V. channels.

Revered Swami Ram Dev Ji Maharaj with his extraordinary talent, great patriotism and deep leanings towards our ancient culture and tradition is establishing Patanjali Yogpeeth, an Institution for social and scientific research and treatment in Yog, Spiritualism, and Ayurved through which more than twenty lac patients of various ailments would derive benefit every year.

He has a golden dream of disease free world. This, he plans to achieve with the help of ancient science of Yog, which he feels will bring peace and happiness to mankind and will lead to the unethical business of weapons and allopathic medicines coming to an end.

Revered Swamiji's is editing the pious work of organising the disintegrated Indian society on caste, creed, religion, region and sex basis to establish India as a superpower.

He considers yeoman service as real Dharm (religion). He envisages India as Vishwa Guru (Teacher of the World) which can become true only if every citizen realises his duties and responsibilities towards the nation. May science of Yog expand virtues of consciousness, morality and brotherhood of human beings such that everyone sees his own consciousness in all creatures and spreads fraternity, friendship and global brotherhood.

It is no less than a divine wonder to see Revered Swami Ji Maharaj in the hearts of millions of people not only of our country but also the world. He is fully committed for the reestablishment of scientific techniques, pious powers and moral values in our society. Millions of people are offering their services and wealth at the altar of Patanjali Yogpeeth (Trust) & University of Patanjali established by him to fulfill his resolution.

The real place of service is the human body for Revered Swami Ramdevji Maharaj, for he pronounces, "my God lives in a man, as 'the temple in shape of man' is built by All Mighty Himself". The service of fellow beings, in addition to Atamsadhna (self control) and Brahamaradhna (meditation) is his worship.

He considers moral acts of love and affection for human beings a true worship of Creator. Revered Swami Ji Maharaj, an apostle of Vashudhav Kutambkam (World as the Whole Family) proves it true by accepting and practicing the world as his house and every citizen as his family member.

motorola bags$90 million order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd

NEW DELHI: Motorola Inc has won a $90 million contract from Indian state-run telecoms firm Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) to supply GSM network equipment, the US-based firm said in a statement.

The deal will help BSNL, the fourth largest wireless telecoms firm in India, add 2.3 million subscribers in southern India, Motorola said.

BSNL plans to add 33.5 million mobile lines in the year ending March 2009. In April, it said it had a capacity of 36 million GSM lines, most of which had been used up and 5.5 million CDMA lines, of which it had 1 million free.

A lack of infrastructure has resulted in BSNL, India's top telecoms firm by subscriber numbers when landlines are added, attracting fewer new users each month than leaders Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communication and Vodafone Essar, controlled by Vodafone Plc.

Motorola said it would ship GSM network equipment and provide network services, including both software and hardware support, to BSNL under the contract.

In March, BSNL had 40.8 million mobile subscribers out of a total of 261.1 million users in India. Market leader Bharti Airtel had nearly 62 million users, Reliance 45.8 million and Vodafone Essar 44.1 million, according to data from India's telecom regulator
